    Re: Active Desktop recovery Issue

Does it happen if they log onto a another machine with their profile or if another user logs onto this machine?
Is the machine fully patched and known clean from virii and malware?
    cheers

        Hi,

I think IE-7 must be installed on his system. If it is then you need to edit some value in Registry. i.e. as follow

        HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Desktop\SafeMode\Components
Change the value of DeskHtmlVersion to zero instead of decimal 272

        Check this & reply..............

            Re: Active Desktop recovery Issue

By the way the profile of the user is not roaming, its local. I actually have a solution for this which is to replace the Ntuser.dat etc.. with a new one. But this solution makes me reconfigure some settings for example reconfigure the Outlook of the user. Is there any other solution for these.. Please help guys..
            THanks..
