  • Windows XP Professional help

I do cyber school. I was issued a computer by the school. It worked fine for the first 10 months or so. Now when I try to log on it starts loading, then immediatly logs off. I've tried going in safe mode and everything that everyone has told me. They did not supply me with a restore disk. I called them and asked what to do, and they said it would cost $150 for them to fix it. I'm trying to fix it myself before I have to pay that much money. Any help will be greatly appreciated.[/u]

    Hello,

First - I recommended you to connect the specific hard disk (#1) to additional hard disk (#2) with OS, and to backup all your data from disk # 1.
Second after you backup your data, try recovery console or to repair Windows.

Netanel Ben-Shushan: Ouch! For someone who has been given a computer, that solution is asking a bit much!

ispaid: If you try to go into Safe Mode does it work? If so then let us know and maybe we can help a bit more. If it doesn't then it sounds like you could be a bit stuck!

Sounds like you need to rebuild your PC (softwrae wise not hardware!!) Get that recovery CD.
