  • Rearranging the Taskbar buttons

    hi all,

i wanted to know HOW TO REARRANGE THE TASKBAR BUTTONS

actually when we programs, folders and files.........we will get those being opened and when we minimize them they will be location as buttons in the taskbar

so for those can we rearrange them, as we like

for example... we have outlook opened after opening some files and i want that outlook to be located at first of all those in the taskbar

like that if i have some XL files which are related to one another, i want them to rearrange one besides the other, to avoid confusion

if any body know how to do this...WITHOUT USING ANY THIRD PARTY TOOL

pls reply to this thread, its important to me in my daily tasks

    thanks
    raj

    Re: Rearranging the Taskbar buttons

You can't rearrange them because they stack up starting from the left in the order you opened them (Windows XP and lower). However, in the "Properties" screen of the taskbar there is an option "Group similar taskbar buttons" which will put all the excel files on one taskbar button with a pop-up menu when you click it - this may address part of your requirement.
