I am trying to deploy Adobe Acrobat Reader 7.0.9 but I get errors if Internet Explorer is open. Is there a way to ignore this error and continue with the install without having someone physically at the computer to click on the ignore button?

Just curious if this happens to be a MSI Installer 3.1 thing because on Reader 7.0.5 we never had this problem but the installer is 2.0 and with 7.0.9 it is 3.0?

    Thanks for your help,
    Michael

have you tried the silent install method posted at adobe?

it should not prompt the user to close anything, nor require any user input.

its easy enuf, so give it a try and post back with the results.

    thanks,
    James
