  • User Profiles

    Hello all.

I was looking at my profile on a Windows XP SP2 system and noticed a rather large discrepancy - the User Profile tool shows I'm using ~990MB, but when I right click on my user name under "Documents and Settings" folder and select properties, I see that I'm actually using 10GB - why the large discrepancy??? What goes towards the size of my profile as reported by the User Profile tool?

    Cheers,
    Tony.

A cute tool I use to investigate where my disk space is going is Disktective.
It's free, it's accurate, no need of installation... It doesn't have a serious reporting tool, but it does the job.
