  • Offering remote assist. WITHOUT user confirmation (like VNC)

    Hello everyone

I need to enable helpdesk computers to offer XP remote assistance to factory computers, without factory users to be notified of this. Just like VNC does.
I can pass a GP setting that enable helpdesk PCs to offer remote assistance but the description of that setting explicitely states that:

"The expert cannot connect to the computer unannounced or control it without permission from the user. When the expert tries to connect, the user is still given a chance to accept or deny the connection"

Is there anyone who knows how to bypass this feature?
    Thanks in advance
    Max

as far as my knowledge goes, you can't do that with remote assistance. according the dutch law it will be violation of privacy. (doen't know the italian law) this because you can spy on other desktops.

you can use however (like wat you already said) third party tools.

In xp as long as remote access is enabled and your user acct has been added to the remote access list, you should be able to.
What do u mean by "passing a GP setting"?
