If I use the scroll wheel of my mouse in MS Word, the screen sometime gets scrambled and shows text lines double or only half. This only happens in MS Word and can be reproduced only in some files. In other Word files and all other programs the wheel works without problems. I use a Laptop PC with S3 Twister-K, Bios 21.00.22.

    Any ideas?

to bad you didn't mention the version of word but i believe that for office XP the sp2 should be the solution.

i start to think that the documents are corrupt. for example the lay-out..
                open the document.
                copy the text to notepad
                recreate a new document
                copy the text from notepad
                paste to the new document.

                save
                and try again.

                later, recreate the lay-out
