I want to install xp pro to a computer that has 2k. I would like 2k to be removed. What is the best way to do this?

    Thanks

    Re: install xp

Boot from the XP disk and when you're choosing a place to install, delete the volume that has 2k on it and then create a new one and install XP.

      Re: install xp

Don't forget to backup ALL your data off Win2K BEFORE starting the install. This includes Favorites, My Documents and anything else you might have saved.

if there is important data on the win2k... use another hard drive or make a ghost backup... so you can get all the data in case you forget to back something up
