  • Windows Explorer Commands

    OK... here's one I can't find ANYWHERE.

    If you examine the "Show Desktop" icon, it turns out to be "ShowDesktop.SCF" - a text file containing the following:

    [Shell]
    Command=2
    IconFile=explorer.exe,3
    [Taskbar]
    Command=ToggleDesktop

    The bold bits interest me... if you have to put all that in to achieve something this simple, there must be MORE commands we can play with. I can't find them on the knowledge base, or on google... so does anyone know anything? Or will we get shot by The Lawyers just for THINKING about it?

    Re: Windows Explorer Commands

    Interesting.....

    Found these so far:

    Command=ToggleDesktop
    Command=Channels
    Command=Explorer

    Channels doesnt do much.

    If you change the number at the end of 'explorer.exe,3' string it changes the icon....:-S
