  • Question: how to get xp to detect vpn connection and only then use proxy settings

    Hi

    ill explain the situation

i have windows xp sp2 with openvpn (vpn client) and i was wondering if there is a way that xp detects that vpn is now connected and only then enables the use proxy in internet explorer... or firefox...

    so its like this:

i am enabling the proxy settings in internet explorer with my proxy ip... and then connecting the vpn client and then every http request is forwarded to my internal proxy and then goes to the internet... works perfect... but can i automate it? that windows detect if vpn is connected and then enables use proxy? and if disconected disable use proxy?

    thanks
