    How can I enable registry editor on Microsoft XP Prof 5.1?
    I keep on getting error message
    "registry editor is disabled by the administrator" whenever I install new programs
    but I am the administrator.

    First be sure that you are member of admin and no other group in CompManagement > Users.

    Second go to Start>RUN> gpedit.msc and check local policy as shown below

      Gentlestorm, if you have bad eyes then buy some glasses otherwise PLEASE leave the font on your posts to a normal size. Salamat!!
