  • Offline file problem.

    OS: Win2k Pro

When a user synchronizes a folder within a networked drive, he is able to access the files normally. For example if the user logs off, he will still be able to see all offline files within their specific folder and modify.

The problem is the following. When the user does REBOOT the PC, he gets an error saying that the files are no longer accessible or that he may not have proper permissions.

It is possible to see the files synchronized in the offline files folder. However, the folder tree is not kept within this folder

This does not happen to every user. Only a handfull of users have this problem.

Here is what I tried without success:

Cleared the cache using ctrl-shift delete files. I added the formatdatabase dword to the netcache key... Yet, none of these solutions worked so far.

    Anybody encountered this before?
    Any ideas or fixes?
