  • Official release: IE 7 (was: IE 7 to be released as Critcal update)

    Hi guys,

just found out that microsoft is planning on rolling out IE 7 as a critical update soon (Q4 2006) as per article:

    http://www.microsoft.com/technet/upd...ouncement.mspx

now I don't know about you guys, but we have found issues with the betas so will be using the blocker tool :
    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

until at least Vista is released and there have been a few sp's released for the new IE.

trouble is i can't help feeling we will be reliving the XP SP2 roll out fiasco (SP2 killing networks etc)

Hmmm... interesting indeed. I hope they won't, and if they do that they won't force us to upgrade...

Don't you just love um. They cannot even get a system right until they start a new one.
