  • Windows 10 on SBS 2003 Domain

    Hello everybody.

At the moment i have an sbs 2003 server, and i would like to update my pc from windows xp to windows 10. Does windows 10 support SBS 2003 as domain controler?

    Best Regards
    Kevin

Certainly won't be any official support as Server 2003 went EOL 2 weeks before general release of W10.
Don't see any reason why it won't work, at least partially, but you won't be able to fully manage W10 PCs through GPOs and WSUS might not work correctly either.
You also don't have a direct free upgrade path from XP to 10.

Hello cruachan, thanks for your answer.

I dont rreally need so much tweak with GPO, just to add to domain and permitions.

It will be used more for file server and sql server for a local invoice software.

      Thanks for the info.

      best regards
      Kevin

You do realise Windows 10 is a client OS and not a server?
