  • MCSA - Server 2012

Well I finally updated my old 2000 Server MCSE, MCSA certifications and passed the 3 MCSA - Server 2012 exams over the past 3 months.

Must say it wasn't quite as hard as I remember 2000 Server exams, namely "The beast"

Still contemplating on whether to go for the MCSE at this time. Doesn't help me in my current position but it does help me if I go for another job

        Thanks guys.

I'm paying for the exams and material so still deciding whether to have a crack at the exams or not.

        Plenty of time for that

          Nice one.

I'll be doing the MCSA upgrade before long, passed the first part of the 2008 MCSA upgrade from 2003 in June, then it'll be the 2008 SA exam and then the 2012 MCSA upgrade. I think I'll be sticking to the MCSA path for now at least though, most of the MCSE stuff is aimed at deployment sizes that I'll never do in real life

Hahahahahah, been ages since I've been on here, but came on to ask about reading material to do exactly this, don't think my MCSE in 2000 is cutting it now 12 years later, don't expect this to be rocket science as I've been working with all iterations since, but we have to learn the "Microsoft Way" don't we.

What study guides did you use?!?!

Is that lab or production? ... sometimes it the same thing for me.

Good to see you around again!

I was going to say I'm certified, but that may not be a good thing.
