  • grrr, logo usage

I'm trying to create a business card at the moment, and the area where I want my MCITP logo is black.
So, I need a transparent background, and white writing. Which is, apparently, allowed.

but buggered if I can find, or make, an appropriate image.

So.. does anyone have one of these.. ? two-color, transparent background, mcitp logo only (ie, no specialities)

Personally I wouldn't use such logo's, rather I would redirect them to the Linkedin website or something like that.
Certifications can come and go and with that, business cards might come "out of date"

Haven't tried it, but there is the "Virtual Business Card" option on the MCP member site now as well.

But not so good to hand out!

Logos should not change too much to (IMHO) use one or two for the highest cert you hold e.g. MCSE and MCITP -- don't go into specifics!

I try to avoid giving out my business cards, customers tend to take it as an excuse to phone me and not the helpdesk.

Careful, if it is the MS logo you may find you can't share it around. It has to be downloaded from the MS page that has the logos. It used to be somewhere in the Certification pages under your Account. Well it was last time I looked about 7 years ago.

yea.. you have to generate it now.. they hav this whole "certificationlogogenerator.com" site or something like that

but it didn't generate what I needed.. took me almost an hour to re-make it..

then i ordered with vistaprint, and they did this dodgy thing where it's like "oh you can get another 500 for just 12.95" and i clicked on it by accident.. so ended up with 1000 of the bloody things..

they agreed to refund the additional 12.95, and are going to give me the full 1000 anyway
