  • Passed - 70-294

    Passed the above this morning.

Only one more to go for MCSE!!!! -

So ive booked the 70-298 for next thursday, wish me look.

Does anyone here think its worth while doing the specialisation? I was thinking of doing the messageing and security before doing the upgrades?

    Congratulations

IMHO the security specialisation is still valid but messaging (exchange 2003) is looking a bit dated now

        Nice one.

Dunno if the security specialisation is really worth it either TBH. You need to do an ISA exam, and even ISA 2006 is now replaced with TMG 2010. Unless there is a TS exam on TMG which counts for it I'm not sure I'd bother.

I've done both 70-351 ISA 2006 and 70-284 Exchange 2003, so when I do 298 I'll be one exam from either specialisation, but I don't see me doing them or the company paying for the exams. 70-284 does get you MCSA: Messaging though.

Great to hear! Getting that MCSE is going to be satisfying. Keep it up! Almost there!

Tmg exam might be released around the end of October.
It will be named differently though. I believe the exam nr will be 70-157

Though it would be Q4 this year. I also doubt that it'll count for MCSE: Security, given that it can't be installed on Windows Server 2003. Be nice if it did as no doubt I'll be doing the exam though.

                Re: Passed - 70-294

                Cheers for the feedback guys.

Although im holding off from the new stuff untill next yr, as the company will set cert targets each yr, and i dont want to run away and get everything out of the way to quick.

Although i might get the MCSE, then decide what to do, may even take a brake for a few months, been hard work getting 5 certs done in the past 4 weeks
