  • Passed 70-647

About an hour ago I passed 70-647 with a score of 929 points.
It took me about 50 minutes to do the exam.

Although I think the exam was rather easy, some questions where not that clear to me as I hoped. Also the mspress book which I've used was very boring to read.
This is not the exames I love

    My runninglist:

70-620: TS: Microsoft Windows Vista, Configuring
70-649: TS: Upgrading Your MCSE on Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2008, Technology Specialist
70-647: PRO: Windows Server 2008, Enterprise Administrator
70-351: TS: Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2006, Configuring
70-64: PRO: Windows Server 2008, Server Administrator
70-557: TS: Microsoft Forefront Client and Server, Configuration

Next stop, ISA 2006, probably next Thuesday.
Because of the lack of study material and my experience with ISA I think I'll manage to it with just a little bit of reviewing the ISA console.

    Anyhow, I'm now a MCITP:EA I believe?

    Nice one Marcel.

When are you looking to do 70-351? I'm planning to do it in the New Year so any advice on what it's like would be useful.

    Edit: I can't read.

        Re: Passed 70-647

Well in total I've done 13 exams this year.
10 for Microsoft, 1 for Checkpoint and 2 others which where required by my manager
VCA safe working and so on... quite recongnized in the Netherlands but also within the EU. Most important for building companies but some of our bigger customers also requires this certification and ESD training with a small exam

Next tuesday I planning to do 70-351. A few months ago I already did 70-350 so I guess it won't be that hard.

Congratulations Dumber! 12 Exams in one year? That takes some serious nerve.

Has there ever been an MSPress book that wasn't boring to read? (With the exception of the original 6 volume Winning Chess series later picked up by Everyman Chess Publishers. Few people know that Microsoft Press published some of the best selling chess books.)

Yep, you're an EA! You just need the 70-646 to get it's little brother the SA.

Are you going to try to cram the ISA exam in before the new year?

Nice to know I'm not the only one taking exams at Christmas time. I've got the 70-284 scheduled for the 23rd... and last year I took 4 beta exams around Christmas. Does that make us weird?

Something tells me that you could probably be writing the exams for ISA.

                      Re: Passed 70-647

Well I'm off at the 24th till the 2nd.
It doesn't make me weird to do the ISA exam just before Christmas, but if you did 4 exams around Christmas? Well that sounds a bit weird I've to say

No no no no, I'm still not good enough, however I'm planning to write some articles about ISA.
I'm not as good as Tom or Jason (see Isaserver.org) but I hope I can learn more in the near feature when more work attracts.
I've done quite a lot with ISA but still not enough.

And pictures? yeah well, I was hoping for some snow but it's only chilly nothing more
But when I've some new ones, I'll let you know

Edit: I've to say I was a bit scared for this exam because I couldn't fully concentrate me on the book...
However apparently I could concentrate me good enough and again I learned to much
