  • CCNA or CCDA?

    Hi all,

I'm currently looking at going down the Cisco certification route. Everyone seems to be looking for CCNA or CCNP certifications, however, I am interested in designing networks as well. I have been looking at the CCDA certification but am unsure of what the actual differences are between this and CCNA. Has anyone here done the CCDA certification? Which do you think would be better to start with?

    Thanks,

    Andrew

In order to get CCDA, you must have CCNA as prerequisites. Check for more detail: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/trainin...iate/ccda.html

I recommend that you get both. The small up-front cost is nothing compared to the long-term benefits... This holds true to most continuing education.
