  • SNAF Exam

At the moment I'm preparing myself for the Cisco SNAF (642-524) Exam since I have to renew my CCNA before the 10th of April.
Anyone knows what to expect on the exam?

Ps, yeah I know I changed my courses quite often lately. However I got a change to follow a course for this...

Hey, whatever you have to do to stay interested and keep from burning out. I've been eyeballs deep in CSS lately just for fun. There's only so much Exchange that a man can take... Sembee notwithstanding.

        Hi Garen,

Yeah I do skip CCNA: Security for now... However I will (and need to) do this later of course...

Hi Nonapeptide, sure, but I've decided that I do what I want to do and for some products I want to have my knowledge in depth...
At the moment I already followed courses for Juniper and VMware and Cisco UCS are already being planned... All for April of course...

I prefer Juniper 100 times to Cisco garbage, I got my JNCIA-FW two years ago but it has such a small user base I couldn't find any jobs that demanded Juniper skills other than "CCIE" level positions.

I hope you have better luck with that route.

            Re: SNAF Exam

Well our company expects a lot of Juniper although I don't see it yet
I'd believe we have just one customer so far (took more then a year though).... Most of our customers are using ISA, Check Point or ASA or a combination of those products.
I finished my JNCIS-FWV crash course a couple of weeks ago, hoewever I rather renew my CCNA first instead doing Juniper and losing my CCNA status...

But it's getting a bit to much though..
MCITP, MCSE, CCSE, later on CCSP, CCNP, VCP, JNCIS-FWV etcetc... Oh and I also have to make sure that I work enough...

You got some awesome photos on your web site. Practice by taking pictures of your workplace. Anyplace there's people, there's great opportunites for candids.

                  Let's see your server room!

                    Don't you know I don't have a server room?
In fact I don't even have a single user..

I'm one of those guys which is getting hired when the problem needs to be solved at 12:00 and it's already 11:58... take the lead etc...
I'm also one of those guys which does a bit of consultancy...

However we are in the process of building a nice lab. We already (our complete department) has a huge lab... And we are going to add about 20 vmware blades, couple of SAN's and so on...
