  • Cisco CCNA 640-802 home lab

Could I get the feedback on the purchase I am thinking about making below

I am looking to start with CCNA, then CCNP, and on my way to CCVP, so I want to just make sure I can expand this lab for future use.

    Thanks in advance!

Way too expensive. You can find comparable kits for less than $300.00 U.S. Have a look here:

IMHO, it's more than you need to study for the CCENT or CCNA exams. I would look for 2 routers and 1 or 2 switches and that's it.

I am sure it is a bit much, just looking to get a good base lab going now, (looking to goto CCNP then to CCVP)

Just curious if it is a good price and good equipment (besides the 19xx switch lol)

                  Hello Khz999,

It is good to know that you hold all those certifcations. In my case I hold the following:

                  A+
                  MCSA 2000/2003 + Security
                  MCSE 2000/2003 + Security
                  CCNA
LPI Level 1 and now preparing LPI2

I am also going for CCNP. What books, guides labs you can guide, you are mostly welcomed.
                  Best regards,
                  Mostafa Itani
