Where’s NetMeeting in Windows XP/2000/2003?

NetMeeting is installed with Windows XP, Windows 2000 and Windows Server 2003, it is just not obvious that it is. There are, by default, no Desktop or Start Menu shortcuts for it.
Note: You may want to read Download NetMeeting for Windows 9X/NT 4.0.
To activate NetMeeting, click Start, Run and enter the following command:
CONF.EXE
This will start the NetMeeting Setup wizard.
BTW, this will also work for W2K, only that you don’t need to run the command there simply because NetMeeting is already present in the Start menu: To use NetMeeting on Windows 2000, click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, point to Communications, and click NetMeeting.

During setup, you’ll be prompted to create Desktop and/or Quick Launch bar icons.

After all necessary information was provided you can begin your conversation.
